We're all human

there once was a girl
who loved all the trees
she loved them soooo much
she dressed in their leaves
first came the pants
they were red maple
she fastened them tight
with only a staple
next came her shirt
now that was quite messy
it came from a shagbark hickory
and its name was "My Bessie"
she crowned herself treeny
and placed it on her perch
it was a lovely round hat
made from river birch
